We encourage you to enroll in the Speed Reading and Study Strategies program offered by The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education. In just two weekends, this course will increase your effectiveness as a reader and a student. As a result, you will be better equipped to manage the competing demands on your time.Many of our program graduates now read textbooks twice as fast as before, and novels and journal articles up to three times faster. Imagine being able to retain and understand information in less than half the time! In addition, you will be able to prepare for tests efficiently, without extensive rereading.Instruction for this course is provided by the Institute of Reading Development. The Institute has provided instruction for The University of Georgia for the past 11 years, and also teaches for many other leading universities and colleges.This four-day program will meet on Saturdays and Sundays for two consecutive weekends. Program dates are October 24, 25, 31 & November 1 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m.This is the only Speed Reading and Study Strategies program that will be offered this academic year.
